Its rarity lies in the pencil inscription apparently in Bernard's own handwriting for the dolls: "South and Central America, Paderowski, Courtisans of Louis XV, Europe." 409012     This is a dollhouse miniature that is a pot metal beer stein with a red celluloid insert. It is shown in the "COSMO Illustrated Catalog of WHITE METAL TOYS and NOVELTIES" , 1922-1923, for the COSMO MFG. CO., Chicago, Ill., as a "White Metal Capsule Goods" No. 1614. Cosmo was the forerunner of the Dowst Mfg Co. which later became TootsieToy. This metal and celluloid toy is about 1 1/8" tall, in good condition, and has the original red celluloid insert.

This auction is for an original color brown painted bowler hat charm. It is about 1" by 7/8" and in good condition.

409023     These are pot metal or white metal items made by the Dowst Manufacturing Company (preceeded by the Cosmo Manufacturing Company and also later by Tootsietoy) that were used by Bernard Ravca as part of his accessories for the bread crumb dolls, but were also sold to Cracker Jack as prizes in their boxes. This auction is for three music related charms: a tuba, French horn, and bugle. They are about 1 1/4" in length and in good condition.

409025     These are pot metal or white metal items made by the Dowst Manufacturing Company (preceeded by the Cosmo Manufacturing Company and also later by Tootsietoy); the items that were used by Bernard Ravca as part of his accessories for the bread crumb dolls, were also sold to Cracker Jack as prizes in their boxes. This auction is for 8 tool charms in a nickel plated or silvery finish. They are about 1 1/2" in length and are in good condition. There is a possibility of some very minor plating pitting or discoloration due to humidity and galvanic reaction; it is easily buffed away. These are a great size for dollhouse miniatures or use with a peddlar doll.

409026     This lot consists of a teapot with lid, sugar bowl, and creamer. All 3 have a floral design and are made of white metal. The teapot (with lid) is 1 3/8" tall. All are in good condition. They are shown in the "DOWST MINIATURE TOY CATALOG" of 1936. The Dowst Mfg Co. later became TootsieToy. Shown in the book Cracker Jack Toys and guaranteed to be Cracker Jack prizes. 409030     This is a small candlestick holder that would hold a birthday cake-size candle. It is metal with a gold finish; it is 1" diameter and 5/8" tall. Good condition. It is shown in the "DOWST MINIATURE TOY CATALOG" of 1936. The Dowst Mfg Co. later became TootsieToy.

507032     Here are 4 replacement gardening tools and what looks like a golfing iron. The tools are all about 4 1/2" to 5 1/2" long and are in good condition. They were meant for the European dolls and came with a collection of Ravca doll items and accessories. Great addition to any Ravca doll collection.

507046     An 8" by 10" photo of Pope Pius XII. The doll is very different than most of Ravca's dolls as this is more "lifelike" than his typical caricatures. The photo has some edge wear and may have come from a display or matting as the back edges look as if theyhad tape thins. Great addition to any Ravca doll collection. These are all old copies from that period and some are stamped and/or hand marked. These are not modern photocopies and may show some signs of aging and/or handling.

507044     This is a professional 8" x 10" photo of Bernard Ravca's exhibit/sale at a department store. The photo has penciled in on the back the different dolls; for instance: "Beggars, Nun, Priest, Polish Jews, Afternoon Chat, 'Breadcrumb' ensembles, and Basque woman." Some edge wear due to storage. Great addition to any Ravca doll collection. These are all old copies from that period and some are stamped and/or hand marked.
