208027 From an old store in Glochester, MA comes these old General store advertising items. They are for CRE-OLL and directions for using CRESOL (probably both are the same product. The CRE-OLL ad is 4" by 2" and the directions are 4 1/2" by 2 1/2". Quite possibly they were for gluing to the bottle when the Barker Drug Store prepared the concoction. These are original and not reproductions.

The artist was Louis Agassiz Fuertes, and includes the birds: Redstart, Yellow-throat, Eastern Phoebe, Rose-breasted Grosbeak, Red-eyed Vireo, Black and White Warbler, Downy Woodpecker, Robin, Bobolink, Eastern Bluebird, Scarlet Tanager, Song Sparrow, Eastern Kingbird, Purple Martin, and White-breasted Nuthatch. The cards measure about 1 7/8" by 2 15/16" and are in MINT condition. Each card has the ornithalogical name and a description. These come in their original glassine envelope and were probably overruns or send-away premiums as they d 1930s or earlier. The bowl section it threaded and possibly something screwed into it.
