1005003 This is an unusual doll that has been around for a long time and has seen some alterations. The doll is a shoulder plate china head doll. In feeling the plate, it seems intact; however, the current body is sewn up to the neck, so I cannot tell if there are any cracks. The arms and legs are ceramic and in good condition. The legs have brown boots with a medallion decoration molded into the base ceramic. Brown boot buttons on
both sides. The overall doll is 16 1/2" long. The body is cloth with a stuffed rag interior, the torso is loosly stitched. The legs are covered in a red and white stripe newer fabric from the waist to the calf. There appears to be a pair of pantaloons underneath the red & white, but not sure. The china head is 3 1/2" from top to the end of the shoulder plate. Good condition, but unless otherwise noted, it is probably in used, played-with, non-new condition.

1004042 This is an artist doll incised C. Lux. The doll is 15" tall, untagged, and is apparently near-mint condition. She is all bisque, jointed arms, legs, and head, set eyes, open mouth. Dressed in pinks and whites. Good condition, but unless otherwise noted, it is probably in used, played-with, non-new condition.

1004037 This is an artist's doll kit marked: "MARIE". It is copyrighted 1981 by Jean Mettee. Also incised Bonita Blauser and numbered 258. The head is 4 1/2" from head to shoulder plate end. Leg length is 6" from incised cloth body line to heel. Arm length is 4" from incised line to fingertip. Comes with some wire and shoes. No instructions. Good condition, it appears unused but no representations as such, consider it as in non-new condition.

1004036 This is a opened but MIB doll kit for Mary Todd Lincoln by Yield House. It appears complete with ceramic head, arms, and legs, cloth for making the body and instructions. It was unwrapped only to show the details and rewrapped and repackaged as found. The finished doll is about 18" to 20". No date, it is item number 3036142. The head is about 4" from top to shoulder plate bottom.

1002020 This is a Hasbro tagged "NEW BABY" about 20" tall. It is wearing a sailor outfit with floppy hat. The doll is a cloth body with vinyl head and limbs. Light blond hair, the sailor suit is a two-piece where the top buttons into the trousers. Marked "J Turner 1984". Good condition, but unless otherwise noted, it is probably in used, played-with, non-new condition.

704037 This is a parian type bisque or unglazed china head shoulderplate doll marked 376 and with a cloth body having bisque arms and legs. The body itself is marked 473. She is wearing antique pantaloons with 3 pintuck rows and lace hem, an antique petticoat with 6 pintuck rows and lace trim, and an off-white dress with thin red striping and red circles. The dress has buttons on the front side but is sewn onto the doll. The doll head does not have any chips, cracks, or repairs. The china head has some black dots in the bisque but still has an exquisite face. Her hands have some minor chipping and missing fingers - see photos. Her feet have the painted on molded shoes and molded socks. The right foot has been repaired. She is 18" long. The mold number is not listed in any of the doll reference books.

901003 This is a dollhouse miniature size doll that is an infant. She has a "T in a Bell" mark and is wearing a very small dress with scallop trim. The doll is 2 3/4" tall and the overall dress and doll is 3". She is misssing her left leg. Her dress has attached underclothing and all this is sewn onto the doll. The doll is in good condition with no breaks, splits, or indentations.

709032 This is a nice cute cloth body rabbit wearing a red print dress. She has on a pair of old pantaloons. Her hands and head are furry. She is old and played with condition as is her clothing. She is 14 1/2" tall. The pantaloons are age darkened and has a few holes, one penetrating the rabbit probably where a wire was used to make her stand. The dress has a small tear in the back and age darkening. The rabbit has one eye missing, the other is partially broken, wear to the fur. The ears have wire inserts so they could be re-positioned.

709022 Here is an all bisque flapper girl doll. She is marked on her back: MADE IN JAPAN A215". She is wearing a yellow hat with light green band, red coat dress, brown shoes, and holding her own doll! There is a brown spot on her hat (probably on purpose as it is on the band) but a drop fell on her back. Some wear to the paint, she is 4" tall.

609012 This is an all biqsue doll with jointed arms and legs. She is wearing her original red calico dress, lace shawl, petticoat, underpants, cloth stockings and leather shoes. She is 5 1/2" tall. Her leg stringing is old and no longer elastic, she could be retied or restrung; however everything about her is old and she probably dates from the late 1800s. There is fading and wear to the dress, some minor separation of the lace from the petticoat hem, wear to the socks, wear to the leather shoes, her left hand is missing from the wrist down and the right hand has been repaired at the wrist. She is not easily undressed so I do not know if she is marked or not.

207092 An old dancing figure that looks like a Palmer Cox Brownie. The brownie is 7" tall and painted in a red hat, dark green blouse, and dark green/pea green striped billowed pants.
